Designed for retraction during procedures, the ribbon retractor measures 5/8" in width and 6 3/4" in width. Its 6 3/4" broad length provides a good reach, making it useful in surgeries that require the retraction of larger sections of tissue or those in deeper anatomical spaces, while its 5/8" width makes it narrow enough for precision control while yet providing ample surface area for tissue retraction. Because of its flexibility, the retractor may adjust to the shape of the surgical site, improving access and exposure while reducing damage to the surrounding tissues.
